Today I prepared the dhokla from bread slices and adding beet root puree in it. This is also easy to make, quick and easy recipe.. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Beets take about an hour to roast in the oven.

Instructions to make Beet bread dhokla:
  1. Cut the sides of the bread and grind them to make bread crumbs.
  2. Grind beet root, green chilli and ginger.
  3. In a mixing bowl put all the ingredients for the batter except eno and water.
  4. Add water and cover it for 15 minutes. Then add eno powder and mix it well as no now the batter is ready.
  5. Grease oil in a tray and put the batter into the tray and steam it for 15 minutes in a Kadai or pressure cooker.
  6. After that check it with the help of a toothpick whether it is perfectly steamed or not. Then remove it from the tray.
  7. For tampering heat oil in a tadka p add and and put mustard and sesame seeds in it and when they crackle then add hing, curry leaves and green chilli in it.
  8. Then add water, sugar, salt and lemon juice in it.
  9. When they starts boiling then switch off the flame and add this to the prepared dhokla.
  10. Now your beet bread dhokla is ready. Garnish it with coriander leaves and desicated coconut, cut into pieces and serve with chutney.
