This trifle uses ready-made custard and cake, leaving you time to make some homemade jelly. This will avoid the cream sinking into the custard. Chill the trifle for an hour before serving. Trifle is a perfect pudding for Christmas or New Years.

Instructions to make Custard Trifle:
  1. For custard boil full fat milk for 20min, then add sugar to it & mix well, dilute the custard powder in cold milk & slowly add this to your boiling milk & keep stirring continuously so as to avoid lumps, once it thicken switch off the gas & let it cool completely.
  2. Fold in whipped cream in cold custard & fill this mixture in a piping bag &, set aside.
  3. Now in a serving glass place some pieces of vanilla sponge cake,soak it with fresh orange juice, pipe the custard over it, add chopped bananas & apple & again cover it with sponge cake & repeat the entire process till the glass is full.
  4. Garnish with pomogrante & Serve cold.
